30,000 more customers are going to be entitled to the ‘Warm Home Discount’ as the offer is extended down to smaller suppliers.

Currently only suppliers with over 250,000 customers have to pay the benefit. The government has announced that suppliers with 150,000 customers or more will have to pay it too, this will be phased in by 2021.
It is not just a scheme for pensioners but other groups too, so if you don’t currently receive it you should check again to see if you could.
