The foods we eat have a huge impact on our health as we age. Just having too little vitamin D (which older skin isn’t good at making even when we do get out in the sun) can create endless health problems – and that’s only one vitamin. Getting the food balance right can feel really good. It doesn’t need to be all grim dieting and weird rules. It can and should be a pleasant change – even on a tight budget.
